Why DTF?
Unlike vinyl or DTG, DTF works on nearly any fabric, including cotton, polyester, blends, nylon, and even leather or canvas. It handles fine details and gradients with ease, making it ideal for business branding, logos, and merchandise.
DTF vs Screen Print
With DTF you can get photo vibrant color designs with smaller orders. No pretreatment needed like DTG and it has a flexible print that is durable when washed.
Screen printing gets more expensive the more colors you choose and isn’t ideal for smaller orders.
Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing is a next-generation method that prints your full-color design onto a film, which is then heat-pressed onto garments. It fuses into the fibers for a soft, durable, and flexible result.

For short runs and full-color designs: yes. Screen printing excels at large runs with simple designs. But DTF offers full-color detail, no setup fees, and faster delivery for most modern apparel needs.
DTG prints directly onto the garment, but it only works well on cotton and has slower production times. DTF prints on film, then transfers to the garment, and works on nearly any material—including poly blends and hats.
No. DTF prints are soft, flexible, and stretchable, especially when properly cured. They’re lighter than vinyl and hold up better after washes.
Vinyl is okay for basic lettering or solid shapes, but it requires manual weeding and layering. DTF handles complex, multicolor logos and gradients easily—no extra steps needed.
Sublimation is vibrant but only works on light-colored polyester garments. DTF works on any color, any fabric, including cotton and darks.
